Anse Bolieau District organized a football Sunday
On Sunday 21st July, 2019 the Anse Boileau District organized a football mass sports competition. The activity form part of the regional sports challenges initiative. The winners of the 1 day competition will represent the district at regional level and from there the best to participate at National Level.
Despite a very convenient sunny weather and calm see breeze, the competition was slow to start. However quite early in the afternoon thing changed as the DJ was keeping the public entertained, the teams registered and enjoyed an afternoon of football fun. The winner of the competition was Louis Boys from Anse Louis won. It is to be noted that the last 2 teams were both from Anse Louis.
Although the activity did not attract such a big crowd, it was definitely welcomed and enjoyed to the fullest buy those present. The day was concluded by the DA presenting the cups to the well-deserved winner.
